Cancellation & Refund Policy

We believe in transparent terms. Please read below to understand the cancellation slabs, booking modification guidelines, and refund timelines.

Standard Refund Slabs

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to hangoverdestinations@gmail.com or submitted through your assigned tour coordinator. The date of receipt of the email/text determines the applicable refund slab:

Peak Season & Special Bookings Exception

Bookings made for peak travel dates (e.g., Diwali, Christmas, New Year, long national weekends) or specific regional festivals are **100% non-refundable** once confirmed. Our hotel and transport partners require advance non-refundable tokens to hold seats during these peak durations.

Train & Flight Ticket Bookings

Please note that **train reservations (IRCTC)** and **flight bookings** managed as part of your tour are subject to the direct cancellation policy of the respective carrier (IRCTC / airlines).

When you request cancellation, we process the train/flight cancellation immediately. Any refund returned by the carrier (minus standard convenience taxes and IRCTC cancellation penalties) will be added to your tour refund package.

Tour Modifications & Postponements

If you wish to postpone your tour or transfer it to another participant:

  • Requests must be placed at least **14 days** prior to departure.
  • Postponement charges apply based on hotel re-booking availability and rate changes.
  • Train reservations cannot be transferred to another individual per Indian Railways policy; tickets must be canceled and rebooked.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once approved, all refunds are initiated directly to the bank account or UPI handle used during booking. The refund will reflect in your account within **5 to 7 working days** (excluding weekends and banking holidays).
